Closing the gender gap and increasing the participation, leadership, and success of women in clean energy fields are the goals of the U.S. Clean Energy Education & Empowerment (C3E) Initiative
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI), the Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy (Stanford Energy), and the Texas A&M Energy Institute (TAMU) collaborate to implement the U.S. C3E Initiative, which was born out of recognition that the ideas and talents of all members of society are essential to meeting our future clean energy challenges. Now in its ninth year, the U.S. C3E Program is focused on developing effective ways to attract, retain, and promote women in the clean energy sector across the U.S.
