Welcome to STEM! It’s a BIG world with MANY problems to define and solve by people just like you … but what kind of person are you and what part of this BIG world will you take on? STEM is a BROAD acronym composed of four independently BROAD fields. The differences, which may remain subtle to the rest of the world, need to be well understood by you and the fellow members of your STEM community. This Toolkit is set up to welcome you to the community and introduce some of the most fascinating and important challenges facing the community today, but most importantly, this Toolkit is designed to help you find YOUR place in the STEM community.

In-person participation is HIGHLY encouraged based on the structure of this session.
Please bring your own personal computer for the hands-on exploratory component of this session. If you do not have a computer, no worries, come anyhow.
