This two-day training will equip you to support learners in data and computation skills.

Carpentries Instructor training goals:

  • Introduce you to evidence-based teaching practices.
  • Teach you how to create a positive environment for learners at your workshops.
  • Provide opportunities for you to practice and build your teaching skills.
  • Help you become integrated into the Carpentries community.
  • Prepare you to use these teaching skills in teaching Carpentries workshops.

The deadline to register is July 26, 2023. Seats are limited and registration requires a code. For the code and additional information, please contact Jon Wheeler, jwheel01@unm.edu.

Registration fee and travel costs will be covered by NM EPSCoR and the NM SMART Grid Center.
