2024 New Mexico Research Symposium

This year the New Mexico Research Symposium (NMRS) will be hosted by the New Mexico Academy of Science (NMAS), held in conjunction with the New Mexico Science Teachers’ Association (NMSTA) Fall Conference, and collaboratively organized with New Mexico’s Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (NM EPSCoR). NMRS is an annual conference with oral presentations, a poster competition, and outstanding teacher awards. The conference is geared to undergraduate and graduate students from New Mexico’s colleges and universities and to science teachers and faculty.

Key Deadlines

• The poster and oral presentation abstract due date has been extended to Friday, September 20, 2024 (please enter your abstract when you register) – accepted presenters will be notified by September 23.
• Student travel grant requests are due September 16, 2024 and the recipients will be notified by September 23.
• Registration deadline: October 16, 2024 – there will be no “on-site” registration the day of NMRS.
