The seminar series program targets public urban audiences and will feature NM EPSCoR scientists and nationally-recognized climate experts. Although general informational talks on climate science and global warming will be offered, the emphasis of the seminar series is to offer public lectures by leading scientists who can effectively communicate current knowledge about the impacts of climate change with a special focus on its implications for New Mexico.

Seminars will be held in Los Alamos/Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Socorro, and Las Cruces where the marketing for and subsequent media coverage of the series will showcase NM EPSCoR activities to the broader public. Both Los Alamos National Lab and Sandia National Lab are collaborating with NM EPSCoR to offer speakers for the series.
