Bill Michener (University of New Mexico) is Professor and Director of e-Science Initiatives for University Libraries at the University of New Mexico. He has a PhD in Biological Oceanography from the University of South Carolina and has published extensively in the ecological sciences and information sciences. During the past decade he has directed several large interdisciplinary research and cyberinfrastructure projects including the NSF Biocomplexity Program, the Development Program for the NSF-funded Long-Term Ecological Research Network, and cyberinfrastructure programs that focus on developing information technologies for the ecological and environmental sciences. Presently, he directs the New Mexico EPSCoR Program and is Principal Investigator for DataONE—a large NSF-supported multi-institutional, multi-national program focused on data preservation. He also serves as Data Archives Editor for the Ecological Society of America and as Associate Editor of the Journal of Ecological Informatics. .

Dr. Mary Jo Daniel is Associate Director of the New Mexico EPSCoR program. She is responsible for overall program management and fiscal oversight, fostering and facilitating the development of new research and education funding opportunities, and assisting the EPSCoR state program to achieve its goals of multi-institutional, multi-disciplinary collaboration on complex issues related to climate change science.
Mary Jo has been involved in science education in New Mexico for over 20 years and served as the State Science Specialist for the NM Public Education Department and Interim Bureau Chief for the PED's Math and Science Bureau. She has taught in public schools as well as at the undergraduate and graduate levels and was the project manager on an NSF G-12 Program at UNM. She has a doctorate in Multicultural Childhood and Teacher Education from the University of New Mexico.

Anna Morrato is the Program Administrator of the New Mexico EPSCoR Program. She is responsible for the oversight of fiscal and administrative functions related to several large National Science Foundation programs managed by the NM EPSCoR Office.
Anna has been with the University of New Mexico for 24 years. Her experience includes serving as a Grants Administrator for the New Mexico Engineering Research Institute; Department Administrator for Chemistry and 18 years as a Sr. Contract and Grant Administrator for the Pre-Award office at the University.

Cecilia has been with the University of New Mexico for 15 years. Her experience includes serving as the Director of Administrative Services for the Office of the CIO; Manager of Administrative Operations at the Center for High Performance Computing; Department Administrator for Mechanical Engineering and a Human Resources Consultant for both Main Campus and the Health Sciences Center.

Laura Arguelles is the Data Manager for the New Mexico EPSCoR Program. She is responsible for the NM EPSCoR website development. Laura has been working in computers and web development for over 10 years. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Community and Regional Planning with an emphasis on Natural and Environmental Resouces.

David Danzilio is the IT Manager for the New Mexico EPSCoR program. He is responsible for the IT infrastructure for the NM EPSCoR State Office. David graduated from UNM in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is currently pursuing his MBA with a focus on management of technology.
