High Performance Computing
- Students received training in atmospheric modeling and associated HPC-techniques at NCAR, as well as training in parallel computing techniques HPC resources at NCAR (“Bluefire”) and at UNM exemplar (“Pequena”) used for limited area and global models
- Developed new models linking climate model output to landscape evolution models; incorporated in the CSDMS framework
Collaboration Technologies
- Continued use of GoToMeeting asa planned and impromptu collaboration environment for project teams Remote researcher and educator interaction for data ingest and data resource demonstrations Distributed project planning and coordination (both for NM EPSCoR and Tri-State CI development)
